Tammy Martin serves as the founder and CFO at CFO Strategic Advisors, LLC., which she formed in 2017 to help businesses solve complex business challenges in today's ever changing business environment. Tammy has extensive experience leading organizations through periods of significant growth and transformation. Her experience with mergers and acquisitions has resulted in the successful sale of small to mid-market firms to organizations such as IBM And United Health Group at prices up to $56 M.
Her experience spans public and privately held corporations, as well as private equity and venture capital backed firms. Tammy has deep industry experience leading technology firms, including SaaS and IP based software organizations. She has held executive and senior level financial positions for Lighthouse Computer Services, UNFI, QualityMetric, Computer Associates and Teknor Apex. Tammy began her career with a local CPA firm after college and she holds an MBA from Bryant University. Tammy is a member of Financial Executives Networking Group (FENG), Northeast Executive Advisory Capital Group (NEAG Capital) and the High Tech Financial Executives Networking group (HTFEN).
Most recently as the former CFO/Chief Financial Officer at Lighthouse Computer Services, a premier provider of IT solutions, and the 2016 winner of the IBM Choice Award for Top Strategic Business Partner in North America. In this role, Tammy was instrumental in packaging and positioning a late stage SaaS based, cyber security company for a successful exit, resulting in the sale of Lighthouse Security Group to IBM in 2014.
Tammy spent 3 years serving on the board of directors for a New England based 503c non- profit and she has also held the position of an adjunct professor, teaching accounting and finance courses at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.
